I had some questions about the seatbelt routing on the Top Side backless booster (since it’s different from almost all other dedicated boosters) and they confirmed that the shoulder belt portion of the seatbelt MUST be routed over the armrest. Routing the seatbelt the traditional way is not an option based on their testing. I think this is one of those rare situations where parents and kids are going to get it right – and CPS Techs may mess it up if they don’t carefully read the manual and follow the diagrams.
Cool, ultra-compact Quinny Yezz stroller $279 (weighs only 11 lbs)
Kat – I haven’t seen the instructions yet and didn’t think to ask about belt routing on the Stack It when we were there so your guess is as good as mine at this point. If someone out there knows the answer – please leave us a comment!
I like the look of the new cosco booster… just because it gives the option for cupholders.. but it looks so odd… the way it flares out around the back…
is the belt routing on it like the top side or is it the usual way?
thinking of in my van, where there would be room for cupholders, even though we have a good year and a half before her current combi dakota expires.
@Violet’s Mom- the Pria without tinyfit will still have a no-rethread harness. It’s a feature of the main portion of the seat. The tinyfit insert lacks that feature- it has slots for different (smaller) harness heights. HTH!
How will the lack of TinyFit affect ease of use? For instance, if one is a parent with a larger baby who will not be using TinyFit, will this change have an impact? I believe your first review said that in part because of TinyFit, the first iteration of the Pria lacked a no-rethread harness. Any word if the new Pria 70 will have a no-rethread harness?
