This summer marks a full decade of CarseatBlog.com! We can hardly believe it. In some ways, it seems like not so long ago that we began writing about carseats, child passenger safety, and vehicle safety. In other ways, it feels like we’ve been doing this for eternity. Lol. Along the way we’ve shared a lot of laughs, made amazing friends, written over 1,500 blog posts and reviewed over 120 carseats and boosters!
Whether you’re new to CarseatBlog.com or have been with us since the start in 2008 – we’d like to share our celebration (and our cupcakes) with you! You are the reason we’re still here 10 years later, still blogging away, always looking for ways to improve our content and better serve our readers.

I love all the recent extended use car seat models! We have a graco 4 ever for our youngest, but after a car accident this week (without baby in the car, thankfully), we’re looking at replacement options. The evenflo is going on our list!
Having a carseat that can handle all stages for my little one, that is very high on the list of amazing things to have in my life. It would make things so much easier. Also that it can be rear facing for that long is definitely a huge star for me!

I wish I’d had this seat when I was getting my daughter’s carseat! She could still be rearfacing at 4 years 8 months (about 45 pounds and 43″ tall now) with plenty of time left to probably make it to 5 years or more. Hopefully I can win it for my friend who is currently pregnant.
