I know Chris from Clek has a loyal fan base among our readers, so I thought you’d all appreciate his demonstration of the Foonf! It sounds like we are still on schedule for a summer launch of the highly anticipated Clek convertible carseat. Thanks to Galt Baby for their time and parking lot, where we were able to see the latest prototype Foonf in a vehicle. Please keep in mind that as a prototype, it may vary from the retail version in dimensions, ratings, colors and features. What you see in this video may not be exactly what you see when it arrives on showroom shelves! So, without further ado, here’s Chris showing off the Foonf:
Looks good, I wonder how much different the final retail version will be.
wow… as usual, it’s getting one’s hands on a clek to know why it costs what it does… they just put such high quality materials and so much thought into their seats. I’m truly impressed (even though I would have liked to see rigid latch for rearfacing, too, cause it decreases misuse if you don’t have anything you have to tighten).
I think if I were to get pregnant, I would be very tempted to start saving for one THAT DAY… lol.
Does the Foonf have independent adjusters for the rearfacing LATCH strap?
Everytime I convince myself I don’t need a Foonf, carseatblog comes out with more juicy details that leave me wiping drool off my chin. *sigh* I should just stop fighting it and pick a color.
the only question remaining is, pink or green?
Jennie- That’s only because Californians have a funny idea of what’s cold. I know- I’m from California. People in New Hampshire are out in their bikinis, sunbathing once the temp warms up to 40 degrees.
I love the foonf! I just wish it went on bargain or something.
More footage = more desire to have one! =o) And i love that color…. looks much prettier IRL.
You know what sucks? That Chris was in Chicago in short sleeves, while we Southern Californians are bundled up in fur-lined parkas and mittens. Sorry, that’s all I could focus on. Was there a foonf there? I’ll have to watch again once I thaw out. (Just kidding–very cool seat; can’t wait.)
Thanks for the awesome video!
