Today is Earth Day, the day we love our planet and reduce, reuse, and recycle without abandon. To celebrate, we thought we’d share our list of carseat recycling centers found around the country. This way, we can keep carseats out of landfills when we can and put them to better use after they’ve been crashed or aged out.

What other ways do you celebrate Earth Day, either today or every day? In my family, we recycle anything that can be recycled, heat our pool with solar power, have solar panels to provide some of our electricity, and one of our cars is fully electric. I still feel like we don’t do enough though. Call it green guilt?
Yay Christine!
I just took a large load of old seats and one, broken computer monitor to recycling yesterday!
It’s ironic, but for being in an industry that depends on automobiles, I realize that fossil fuels are perhaps the biggest bane of modern society, economically, politically and environmentally. Autos are a bit part of that. We drive two hybrids and still likely cause more than a reasonable amount of foreign oil to be imported and burned. We do pretty well at recycling, but still produce far too much trash. Some would like to ignore all types of pollution and emissions in favor of the economy and big business. I guess that’s great for me and a lot of other people now, but our kids will definitely pay the price for our wasteful consumption later.
