This 5 Year Blogiversary Celebration isn’t about us – it’s about YOU. We know we’re lucky to have so many awesome readers and followers who all care deeply about keeping kids safe in and around motor vehicles. We want to reward you for supporting us throughout these last 5 years and the best reward we could think of was another incredible giveaway promotion!
We’ve partnered with our generous friends at The First Years/TOMY to give away one of their new True Fit SI C680 convertible seats! This is the updated True Fit Premier model with enhanced side-impact protection. It still has the awesome anti-rebound bar feature and the removable upper headrest portion. The True Fit SI C680 is rated from 5-35 lbs. rear-facing and from 23-65 lbs. forward-facing. It’s a tall seat and great option for extended rear-facing with kids who weigh less than 35 lbs. The new True Fit SI is on our list of recommended seats and we will have a review of this new model in the near future.
This promotion is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated! A winner will be announced soon!
Are you ready for the rules? Here’s the deal – a winner will be chosen from this blog entry or from any other previous 2013 CarseatBlog.com comment. So, just to be clear – you enter by leaving us thoughtful comments on this and any other non-giveaway blogs posted this year. We’ve had a bunch! Carseat reviews, vehicle reviews, other product reviews, guest posts, news updates, conference updates, funny parenting-related posts – they’re all potential winning tickets! If you are already a frequent CarseatBlog commenter then you’re already in the running to win but feel free to add a few more comments to increase your chances! The comments left should be thoughtful and related to the blog they’re commenting on (for example, don’t leave a comment on the BoostAPak Vs. BubbleBum blog that says “entering for the TF” or “thanks”). The more 2013 non-giveaway blogs you comment on, the more entries you get! Capice?
All eligible comments posted on this blog and previous blogs prior to 11 PM Eastern Time on 7/14 will count as an entry for this giveaway. If you post more than once on any one particular blog only the first comment will count as an entry.
Winner must have a U.S. shipping address. Canada is excluded – sorry!
Now for the fine print:
You are not eligible if you have previously won a carseat or any sponsor giveaway at CarseatBlog.com during 2012 or 2013 (our own giveaways of bags and such don’t count if no sponsor was mentioned). Current blog writers and editors are also not eligible. Only one entry per household/family, please. If you leave more than one comment, only the first one will count.
We reserve the right to deem any entry as ineligible for any reason, though this would normally only be done in the case of a violation of the spirit of the rules above. We also reserve the right to edit or update the rules if necessary.
The giveaway promotion will close on Sunday night, 7/14, and a random winner will be chosen on Monday, 7/15. If a winner is deemed ineligible based on shipping restrictions or other issues or does not respond to accept the prize within 30 days, a new winner will be selected.
Good luck!
Please note: If this is your first comment at CarseatBlog, or if you are using a different computer/device or a new email address, your comment may not appear immediately. It will not be lost; it may just take a few hours for it to be approved. Thank you for your understanding and patience as this is the only way we have to reduce comment spam.
Winner will have their choice of available C680 fashions!
Ok, I am IN LOVE with that red-checked fashion. Any idea where it will be carried?
(Also this giveaway sounds like a logistical nightmare for you guys. Good luck. LOL)
I’m not eligible to win, but I just wanted to say thanks for such awesome giveaways! Happy Anniversary!
What a bunch of fun prints! I just love all the colors and patterns!
Would be great for my peanut daughter. She liked when I put her in the display one at Target.
@EVE – the anti-rebound bar is for all rear-facing installations and can be used with or without the upper headrest portion. HTH!
I love this site! For every seat I purchase, you are one of the first places I look for information. Thank you!!
Grandma here . . . trying to catch up on the latest and greatest. What a great carseat!
I have a TFP and it was a good choice!
I’m pregnant with my first and would love this seat. I like that it can rear face for a long time.
GREAT, great seat with tons of leg room and all kinds of shell/headrest that gets tall, slender kids to 3 & 4 rear facing. I absolutely LOVE the black and teal combination. So gender neutral and stylish!! The First Years has a great seat here!!
This looks like a nice seat. Is the anti rebound bar for all rear facing or just for infants using more of a recline?
Nice! By any chance was the rfing weight limit raised? Hoping so…. Fingers crossed. I have previously had narrow shouldered kiddos but now have a linebacker. Seems like this seat would be great for him. I would love to switch him to the True Fit SI. Thanks for another great giveaway:).
This would make a great back up seat for us in Grandma’s car 🙂 I really wish they would make a seat with a RF limit of at least 40 lbs. It seems most car seats are headed in that direction (if not 45-50 lbs!), so I wonder if the TrueFit will catch up! The fashions this seat comes in are so pretty.
Am I the only one that factors that in? Haha! The pink and black is so chic.
Thank you for doing these giveaways, CSBlog!
The car seat reviews have been so helpful to me. I don’t feel like I can trust the reviews on Amazon. I know that the people that write the ones here know what they are talking about.
This looks like a nice update. DS had an older version of the TFP and I loved it. So nice to have an anti-reboud bar on a seat that does not cost over $300.
I had one (well, two actually) of the original TrueFits and I still regret selling them! I love them for both rear facing and forward facing.
I love the new headwings on this seat. The legroom and arb are just icing on the cake!
I have just recently found Carseat Blog, as I am expecting my first baby in December. I have spent hours and hours trying to figure out what car seat will be best for my situation and this has been the best resource I’ve found. And this particular car seat is the one I think will be best!
Another great looking car seat! I hit the link to amazon to find out more and it was really helpful. We’ve been looking to transfer our 2 y/o and 1 y/o to new seats and my husband feels I’ve become a bit of a freak about it – but I want them to be safe! I think the rear facing rebound bar is a great feature and one I’ve never seen on any other car seat. Plus, the material that is easy to wipe off is a great bonus since my two year old often gets carsick. Love the style and different color options. Thanks for introducing us to all these new car seats!
Oh my gosh! I want to have one of these live at my house SO bad! The True Fit is my all time favorite seat – at one point i owned several for my various harnessed children. I still own the “original” True Fit i bought 4 years ago when i learned all about car seat safety and bought some quality seats for my children. I have tried all the seats out there just about and still love this one the best. I bet the new version is even better than the original!
Thanks for hosting yet another great give away!
Looks pretty nice, I don’t think I’ve seen one of these in person yet. I like the black and blue one, not so much of a fan of the other more colorful options. Good weight limits on this seat, I’m sure it will sell well.
My daughter’s old TFP is still my favorite seat ever. And thank you so much for this blog! I have learned so much and refer so many people here 🙂
I have learned so much from this blog–thank you so much for this invaluable information.
I’m so grateful for this blog and the practical reviews. My daughter is 15 months and still in her rear facing infant seat but I know the next step is in the near future so I am researching now!
car seat blog provides such helpful info to make an informed decision abotu which seat to buy!
I hope they have made the harness on the new TFSI easier to adjust than on the TFP!
