There was a misunderstanding regarding the start date for the Cybex X-Fix booster giveaway (new start date: May 3!), so we’ll flip this contest a day earlier! Whew, then I’ll be able to actually start calling it by its name.
So, come one, come all! I’ve been tweeting about it over the past few days and now it’s your turn to guess what I’m driving. But you’ve got to hurry because I’m going to post the review on Wednesday.
The first winner to guess correctly will receive a goody box filled with one or more items I collected from my recent trip to Lifesavers in Philadelphia. Of course, if you were at Lifesavers, you’re not eligible to win, but you can certainly guess. Have fun guessing!
a va-an?! you made it sound way to sporty for a van. 😉
I really am looking forward to reading it. A Sienna was at the top of the list a couple months ago. I’m kind of annoyed by some of the 2011 changes. and then there’s the whole recall debacle…
OK, OK. Like I said in my first comment waaayyy back when, one of you *may* or may not have had the correct guess. I’m really not such a tease 😉 and I’m totally risking have cyber tomatoes and other rotten fruit and vegetables thrown at me now. Well, go ahead, throw away! Tweetykl is correct :). 2011 Toyota Sienna it is. I’m working like a crazy woman on the review (ahem, when I’m not driving it). The engine truly is amazing in it.

P.S. Here’s where the answer was hidden: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=121283 .
no, Ford sold their controlling stake in 2008, which is partly what kept them from needing bailout money. I learned that from dh when we were wandering the Mazda lot Saturday.
Speaking of Ford, dh likes the Edge. Actually, he just likes the SYNC system, and the Edge is the most acceptable in our class. I think it looks like a jelly bean.
Whatever it is that you’re driving, I can’t wait to read the review. I’m guessing it’s something close to what we’ve been shopping for.
Aw Crunchy :). Isn’t Mazda an American company since it’s owned by Ford? Is it still owned by Ford? I barely keep track of that stuff, but I did hear a couple of weeks ago that they had sold off Volvo to a Chinese co. and that shocked (shocked!) me. I do like the styling of the CX-7/9s!

Psssst: Just slip Julie a little caffeine and she’ll have those crazy times :D.
vroom vroooom, or zoom zoom? because a CX-7 would probably leave me pouting for the afternoon as well.
BMW X5? MDX? Audi Q7?
Oh I tweeted it, but I’ll put it here too. I’m thinking a lexus rx
if you say Mazda CX-9, I might cry from jealousy.
Yeah, very crazy indeed. *Someone* saying what it was right in front of me, I meant. D’oh.
I think I remember saying what it was right in front of me, and yet, I can’t recall what it might be. Crazy times there at Lifesavers, crazy times….
It’s a foreign model.
I haven’t been reading your tweets, but I heard the Ford Flex was great for installing car seats… I don’t have one so that’s just hearsay. 🙂
Dodge Sprinter, baybee! (Talk about overkill–unless you’re secretly pregnant with multiples..you did look like you’d gained a few pounds… AS IF.)
I’m guessing Mini.
Good guesses! One of you may or may not have guessed correctly ;). It’s bigger than a breadbox and smaller than an RV ;). Sports cars are fun to drive, but I also enjoyed driving a 15 passenger van that was old when I worked at Duke (go Duke!) a gazillion years ago. Does that help? LOL!
I’m guessing 2011 Toyota Sienna but it is lacking Latch.
I have no clue so I will say a motorcycle, just to say something 😉
I don’t even know if they are out yet but I’m going to guess Nissan Leaf. 😉
Lexus Convertible.
I don’t tweet, but I’ll guess a school bus. Why not?
XC90?
Or was the Volvo comment to throw us off the trail? 😉
