I have a USB stick of photos to sort through this week, but for now here are some more videos. The Graco Nautilus Elite is a nice update and we hope to have one this fall for a full review.
The Safety 1st Complete Air LX is another nice update I mentioned earlier, also coming this fall.
The Combi Flash stroller is made for the Coccoro convertible and folds quickly and easily. Please note that in the video, we have it unstrapped for ease of demonstration. To secure it, you route a strap through the belt path. It will be shipping soon.
Finally, the Harmony Baby Armor, currently available at Walmart. It will soon have updated fabrics and will be sold in independent baby shops. We hope to have a Baby Armor for review soon, too!
This morning I spend my last few hours at the show:-( I wish I had another day to visit all the smaller retailers making child safety related products. Hopefully time will permit next year!
(OH and for older kids, it would turn off parents who don’t want their kids playing with/dealing with “baby” stuff too)
I have long thought that the Nautilus is what I would buy next, after my child outgrows the Marathon (but he’s a ways from that now) Hearing that this has the same lockoffs as the Safeseat (which I loved) would make me incline toward the Nautilus Elite even for a few more $$.
Baby Armor? Ugh. I can’t see recommending that casually at all for fear it would make people think they could put their babies in it!
The Nautilus Elite looks nice. Not the fabric, but the features. I like the lock offs. That is my favorite part about Britax, how easy they are to install with seat belts.
The new Nautilus Elite, with one cup holder? No biggy, love the upgrades! Anything new from Britax, Didn’t here much from them.
Gypsy- Oops! I’d have gotten it right in a few more takes!
Lismama- I think they said neutral colors to start.
Nannymom- We told them about the connotations of the name before it was released. I think they went with their focus groups and research, but they should be well aware of the opinions of advocates on the “baby” aspect.
that coccorro, now that it has the stroller, really IS the answer for the city folks… the ease of use and the light weight for easy transporting… it’s perfect for kids to use till they can use a ride safer vest and then a booster.
Well, you know, the Nautilus Elite has the comfort inserts that look like infant inserts. It’s nicely padded.
I like the CCO stroller. Good in taxis, and looks good for traveling and the airport too.
Did you ask them about the name ‘baby armor’? I too commend you for saying it w/o choking.
Thanks for the videos, Darren! (And I agree that you handled the “BABY Armor” very well.)
Do the “new fabrics” for the Nautilus include some actual COLORS?
Thanks for getting video of the Coccoro stroller. I had been curious about it but now see it’s not something I need. But what a fantastic solution for people who rely on taxis a lot!
“Infant insert” in the Nautilus Elite??
I commend you for saying “baby armor” without choking a little…..
