No, it’s not another updated version of a Snugride, Snugride 30, Snugride 35 or SmartSeat with just a new number behind it! It’s essentially all-new; base and carrier. Stay tuned for our review of the Graco Snugride Quick Connect 40 infant seat, available initially at Babies R Us for $219.99. According to Graco, it will accomodate most preemies and newborns all the way until 2-years old! It’s also got Graco’s new stroller attachment system and will work with various upcoming stroller models. There are internal side impact protection wings, a no-rethread harness and an innovative base recline system that increases foot room as older kids become more upright! A pop up foot rest not only protects the vehicle seat back from dirty shoes, but also has tiny feet imprints to help give parents re-assurance that’s it is OK for the child to be able to have their feet touching the seat.

Do you know what stroller is compatible with this carseat?
I just bought this carseat, I did a trade in because I received a free, but expired, car seat from a friend. I also had an older Click Connect stroller from the same friend and am really disappointed that the car seat and stroller are not compatible.
Now I have to go and exchange the stroller too, even though it’s completely functional and in perfectly good shape. Total bummer.
We were thrilled when this carseat came out. What a great concept. However, when we received it, the first thing we noticed were all the very large painted on warning “stickers” ALL over the seat. We understand there’s a need for warning labels, but is it really necessary to plaster them on the fabric too? Next, we installed it in my husband’s truck. The base was secure, but the seat itself was very loose once clicked into the base; not very comforting to new parents. Upon closer inspection, we found it ironic that with all the safety warnings and directions on how to properly & safely install and use this seat that the 3 attachment latches were made of plastic. We will be returning this seat.
I (sadly) just traded in my 2 year old’s pink infant seat and stroller for a new (boy friendly) click connect 40 seat and the stroller. I am really looking forward to it coming in (none in my store so they had to order it-I scored by getting 25% off on each piece with the trade in, then they had to order online for me so I got an additional 15% off on each). My daughter is 27 months, but she only weighs 27 lbs and is under 35 inches, so I plan to put her in there and see what it looks like lol
I just picked up this carseat and stroller today and I absolutely love it. My 7 month old who is 18lbs and 28″ was on the cusp of outgrowing her keyfit30 by height, and I am not ready to put her into her advocate 70 yet:-) Anywho, she likes the seat, fell asleep instantly , easy to adjust, easy to install in my 2012 infiniti g37,(outboard passenger, with seat belt not latch) and I am pretty impressed. The sunshade is the most impressive on both the seat and stroller. I think this seat is a hybrid of Britax Chaperone meets snugride 35. PerfecT!
