The full review will be next week sometime, but for now you can enjoy the unboxing video and a few sneak peek photos! You may also visit the Britax USA website for more information on the Britax Parkway SlideGuard high back (and backless too!) booster.
The Parkway SlideGuard will be available soon for around $119 at Amazon.com , Kids-N-Cribs.com and other retailers.
Just wondering what your opinion would be on this Britax sg vs the monterrey sunshine booster. Please let me know.
Our full review can now be found here https://carseatblog.com/?p=2996 .
I am really excited for this one! Now I hope that they release a girl cover fairly quickly so I can buy one.
wow–if the SG is mandatory, i’m willing to bet this seat sells better for older boys than older girls–too many problems with dresses and skirts…..but it looks cool! good thing I’ve got boys 🙂
And the beloved PW is back and seems to be better :D. Can’t wait to see the rest of the review! Thanks for the preview, Darren.
woohoo, finally a ‘narrow’ booster almost to the market for all the 3-across-er’s! DD2 would be bummed that the side wings aren’t as deep as the old PW, though – she **loves** how her Sapphire PW wraps around her.
I like that it’s a little taller. May just be the seat we need for grandpa’s truck. Can’t wait for the review!
Funny, it looks NARROWER in the seat area to me! Looks like the “armrests” won’t be a 3-across problem, woo-hoo!
Thanks Crunchy for the suggestion. :o) I am still trying to decide if I want to pre-order one or not right now. I kind of want to wait and see if they come out with a better variety of covers.
At the top setting, it’s roughly 1.5 inches taller, maybe a hair more.
mom25, maybe leaving the cupholders out will stabilize it. 😉
Thanks for the preview. I like it! love the clip, that it converts to backless, seems taller…
Thanks! I am just hoping its not tippy like its predecessor.
Thanks for the sneak peak! Can’t wait to read more!!!
The SlideGuard clip is required.
Is the SG clip optional? If so, I’d like to see some comparison pics of belt fit with and without the clip when you do the full review.
I’ll have more photos in the review including some with my 4-year old and a side view with the two back-to-back. I doubt I’ll be able to get my older son in the pink one, but my younger son loves pink lol.
Leah loved the video, kept saying ‘Hi’ back to your son, and said, ‘Mama, I like it!’ Now we are going to watch it again 😀
Squee! I love it. The head wings are still deep, just not as angled toward the head. The seat doesn’t look any deeper, but that isn’t a deal-breaker for most people. Something that pleases me, that I hope isn’t an illusion: the new PW looks a bit taller than the old PW.
Thanks! It looks much better than the previous pictures I have been. More like a Britax and less like a Graco.
Thanks for the sneek peek. :o) It looks wider for some reason in the seating, but maybe just an illusion since it has armrests now. Any chance you can post some pics with the review of how a child fits in the PWSG compared the old PW? Please..
