First Photos From ABC Kids Expo
Though the show doesn’t start ’till Sunday, Saturday afternoon is the new product showcase. You get wine, cheese and lovely appetizers. Oh, and there’s some products on tables, too. Last year, we got a peek at the Clek Olli booster at the showcase. This year, there were a few more carseat related items. Some you’ve probably seen, others maybe you haven’t. There’s no one at the showcase to answer questions or give information. So, all I’ve got for tonight is a dozen photos. Tomorrow we start early with manufacturers. Kecia has already posted news from Sunshine Kids, spoiling our ABC thunder! They’re first among our appointments tomorrow. Others for Sunday include Britax, Evenflo, Cybex, Clek and Orbit. Stay tuned for any new press releases! In the mean time, these photos will have to satisfy your curiousity. Keep in mind that some of these may be prototypes and not indicative of final product appearance or quality. Others maybe retail samples. Enjoy!

What is the infant seat w/ rigid LATCH? And are those “air bags” like the Complete Air?

OMG WOW! This is when I officially become a carseat blog stalker. I must know more! The infant seat doesn’t have a chest clip! Does that mean we’re going to have a seat without one in the US?
Whoa! Hold the phones! Is that a rigid LATCH infant seat AND an EPS-foam shield booster? Quick, I must know if it’s an option for lap belts only and what the child weight specs are on that sucker! Oh, oh, and price point!
What’s going on there with the Chaperone in some sort of adapter over a stroller?

ooh, just figured out the twinner carseat thing. You could never get 2 car seats side by side on a double stroller, it would be too wide. Now, with that set up, you can!
Yippie! I love my Start with shield but feel weird using it “illegally” and would love one made for the US.
I’m not understanding the LATCH strap over it though. Is someone seriously gonna LATCH it in every time??
I SOOOO hope you can use it with a lapbelt since you can’t with the Start with Shield. I want one for DD2!!!

Rigid LATCH infant seat? What kind of info is available about it?? And I’m liking the looks of the Kiddy World Plus, too! Thanks for the pictures and report!
The lower LATCH and top tether attachments on the World Plus stay hooked to the car anchors all the time. There’s a separate buckle that allows you to open the shield to get the child in and out! After 40 pounds you use it like a regular high back booster. The USA version should be available in the first quarter of 2010. We meet with Kiddy this afternoon, more details and photos later tonight!
I have used the Head Snuggler and it works great!! My kids wouldn’t leave home without them.
They are backed by a pediatrician and chiropractor.
Worth trying cause my kids sleep much better and LONGER!!
