I'm not sure when they made the switch but "B" belongs to my Combi Dakota. The display model Dakota at my local BJ's Club has the same lock-off type part. However, in Julie's recent review of the Dakota here http://carseatblog.com/?p=2171 it's obvious that it isn't the same clip anymore. So, that one was more than a little tricky.
