Marvin’s Giveaway Corner #4: Moo-ry Christmas!

Marvin, Kecia, Heather and Darren have a special holiday edition contest for you today! First prize is one Britax Marathon in Cowmooflauge! Brand new, in box! There are two consolation prizes today, also! Marvin will give the second and third prize winners a 3-month Benefactor subscription at Car-Seat.Org. If you already have a Supporter subscription, yours will be upgraded and extended. If you already have a Benefactor subscription, yours will be extended. Sponsors are not eligible for the consolation prizes, sorry!

This giveaway will be slightly different than previous ones. Here’s the fine print-

To qualify for this giveaway, you must be registered at Car-Seat.Org prior to today. Anyone with a forum account made on or before December 15th is eligible to participate, subject to the other rules. The email address you use to enter/comment should match the one you have in your Car-Seat.Org account.

To enter, simply comment as usual, one per family, please. If you leave more than one comment, only the first one will count.

The winner will pay shipping from the northeast which will include delivery confirmation. If you want to add insurance, signature required, weekend delivery, next day, second day, international or other service, that is also at your cost. Expect the cost to range from approximately $25 in the northeast up to $50 on the west coast for FedEx ground service (UPS and USPS will be more). Shipping costs are not refundable for any reason. Paypal is preferred but a money order will also be accepted. Marvin will be rounding up to the nearest $5 to cover Paypal fees and will contact the winner via PM to at Car-Seat.Org to the account matching the email address on the winning comment!

The winners will be selected at random on Friday morning. Marvin will do his best to have the item shipped the same or next business day that payment for shipping is cleared through Paypal or the bank, but shipping times are variable and the choice of service is up to the winner. No guarantees on shipping or delivery days!

Marvin knows there are probably ways to do multiple entries. Marvin knows some people will probably enter with an intent to resell this item. Marvin requests that you only enter once per family and only if you intend to use the Marathon personally. Marvin has no way to enforce this, but hopes that people will honor his request in the spirit of the holidays! Marvin would have liked to sell this to fund his spawning center, but was overcome with the holiday spirit and hopes his readers are too.

The first prize winner may not be eligible for some future giveaways at Carseatblog. In the event the winner does not respond, does not claim their prize or payment for shipping costs is not received within two weeks, Marvin reserves the right to award the first prize to the second prize winner and then similarly to the third prize winner.

If you pick me, I know an adorable little 18 month old boy who loves cows….(moo, mama, mooo! when we pass a cowfarm ) who would be over the moon for a cow seat of his very own.

(I should add he is also very fond of fish, but interestingly enough, will not eat them.)

Marvin–this is fabulous! If we won it, my husband would be so pleased, b/c he has bought all the carseats for our son, niece, and nephew (so that they are kept harnessed and boostered).
