So long- I’m outta here!  But I’m not leaving you without a contest :-)

The prize?  A sporty CarseatBlog short-sleeve Polo.  It’s an XL, and perhaps even a little big for an XL, so be warned.  If it’s too big, give it to your hubby or maybe the friendly police/fire tech in your town or make a few bucks and put it up on Carseat Swap O’ Rama for someone else who might want it!  The winner should also receive a CarseatBlog keychain, provided they arrive in time!

The contest?  My family is off to Israel and Jordan for a two week vacation/pilgrammage.  During most of that time, we will have a driver/guide provided by the tour company.  I have no idea what type of vehicle they will provide, but since it is not a group tour, I assume it will not be a bus (but who knows?).  Theoretically, they are to provide a booster for my youngest son.  In total, there are 6 of us.  Three adults (my wife, my sister and me) and our three kids.  The question is, how many of the 6 of us can be adequately restrained (by my judgement) in whatever seating arrangement we deem best, most convenient or easiest to keep the kids from fighting.  This generally means lap + shoulder belts, adequate head restraint, more or less meeting the 5-step test for the older kids and a booster in good condition that appears to have been made in the last 10 years and results in at least a mediocre belt fit for my youngest.

Each contestant is allowed one guess.  Upon my return, I will post the answer I deemed to be the most correct.  Keep in mind there are likely to be grey areas and in the case where more than one number seems valid; I will just pick among those at my discretion.  Then, I will randomly pick a winner among those who choose the same number that I post.  Of course, I will include photos and videos that you can use to dispute the results, but as is the case in FIFA World Cup football referee decisions, my opinion is final and I don’t even have to tell you why!

Only your first guess counts (even if I happen to post a blog with a photo or related comment during my trip!).  Everyone is welcome to guess, including Heather and Kecia (who I know aren’t interested in the prizes anyway so don’t worry!).

Two runners-up will be awarded a free 2-month supporter subscription to Car-Seat.Org.  If they are already a supporter or benefactor, they will have 2 months added to their current subscription.  Sponsors are not eligible for the runner-up prize, sorry!

The contest is open until I post the winning number (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6).  This could be at any time during or after the trip.   Prizes may not be awarded/shipped until mid-July.  If you are outside the USA, you may be responsible for shipping charges, sorry!
