(CONTEST CLOSED) Evenflo has generously agreed to sponsor today’s giveaway, a Big Kid Amp Booster in your choice of colors! While we don’t have a review of the Evenflo Big Kid Amp yet, it did just score a “Best Bet” in the new IIHS Booster testing. (Kecia will have more on the new IIHS Booster testing later today). Shipping is to the USA and Canada only. To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog! Now, for the fine print again:
You are not eligible if you have previously won a carseat or sponsor giveaway at CarseatBlog.com (our own giveaways of bags and such don’t count if no sponsor was mentioned). Also, please note that you may enter and be eligible for any of our other giveaways running at the same time as this one! Blog writers and editors are also not eligible. Only one entry per household/family, please. If you leave more than one comment, only the first one will count. We politely ask that you only enter if you intend to use this booster seat and would also appreciate the favor of a followup comment about the Big Kid Amp in reply to this contest blog. A random winner will be chosen on Tuesday (December 29) out of the eligible comments left in reply to this blog. Please note that delivery will not be in time for Christmas and will most likely be in early January!
We reserve the right to deem any entry as ineligible for any reason, though this would normally only be done in the case of a violation of the spirit of the rules above. We also reserve the right to edit/update the rules if necessary. If a winner is deemed ineligible based on shipping restrictions or other issues or does not respond to accept the prize, a new winner will be selected. Good luck!
Please note: Your comment may not appear immediately if it is your first comment at CarseatBlog, if you are using a different computer/device or if you are using a new email address. It will not be lost; it may just take a few hours for it to be approved. Thank you for your understanding an patience as this is the only way we have to reduce comment spam.
Update: Our forums at www.Car-Seat.Org are sponsoring a separate give away of a second Big Kid Amp! You may also enter that contest. The fine print is a little different, so please see http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=109246 for details!
It’d be nice to have a backless booster around for those times when friends happen to show up.
Happy Holidays!!
Sign me up! Ds1 is needing a new backless since his backless turbobooster is expiring soon!!!
You can never have too many boosters 🙂
I’d love to try this backless booster out, we have such a limited selection of seats here in Ketchikan, Alaska, that I know I won’t be able to see/try one here.
Well, based on the new report, my Evenflo Express has got to go. Makes me sad as I love that seat, but I love my daughter more 🙂
Love the looks of the Amp!
Love the pretty blue color! It would match my blue van.
I am searching today for a booster car seat for my grandson. We have been talking about making the move up in my car to a booster. He made the move in his mom’s car a few months ago. In searching I find this has been rated best in the latest testing being talked about on all the news shows. I am looking forward to the move-up for my grandson. He is getting so big. (tear..&..sigh)
I could use a backless for a spare:)
We could use another spare for our American Heritage Girls group. Some of those parents do not understand the importance of boosters.
My daughter is getting ready to transfer into a booster this would be great!
I was thinking of one of these to be able to keep in the van, for unexpected extra riders.
This would make for easy carpooling!!!
Happy Holidays everyone!
I am loving finding all these things out about boosters etc and I wish I would have done it sooner since I had the now 11 yr old in a booster by age 3–didnt know any better and in a regular seat by 6. Now I know better and my now 7 year old is safely secured..thanks for all the great advice! Happy Holidays!
This would make a great back-up/carpooling booster for my 7YO DD!
Enter me!! i want to give this to a friend who despartley needs a booster.
Please enter me. My huge 6 year old has almost outgrown the high back Turbo booster is ready to start using a backless sometimes.
This would make a great spare for AJ! He’s starting to get to the age where he goes to friends’ houses w/out me and few of his friends are in boosters still. I hate that kids grow up, lol.
My son has only 1 “click” left in his parkway. This would be perfect for when he outgrows the parkway – hoping he makes it through the winter. Yay for c-s’s awesome give-aways!!
Oh, I could actually use this one! My daughter is growing too fast and I am tired of remembering to move the Turbo Booster.
Please enter me!
Ohh, that would be perfect for carpooling!
I just happen to stumble on this blog and I must say it’s quite impressive. Def paainging this on to my friends and family.
If you are watching the Today Show on NBC, be sure to catch the segment on booster testing about 45 minutes into the program! It has already aired in the Eastern time zones, but you can still catch it elsewhere and probably on their internet web page, too. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/34521238#34521238 .
