© Many of our photos do not have watermarks, in part because I am lazy, and in part so that they don’t detract from the photo. Despite this, we would like to remind other website owners that our content is copyrighted.
We encourage other bloggers to use our RSS feed, to link to our blog or include us on their blogroll. No permission is needed for this, of course! You are also welcome to contact us to suggest a link or blogroll exhchange if you have a blog or website on a similar topic. We also politely request that advocates please make sure to reference/link back to the original blog when including fair use of our commentary or photos at other forums, blogs and websites. For webmasters and website owners, we ask that you request permission before using any photos or signifciant CarseatBlog content and also that all such use be properly referenced and linked back to CarseatBlog for the complete context.
We maintain control of our content primarily to avoid the possibility of incorrect advice being given on child passenger safety. Taken out of context, some of our photos and text may convey the wrong message, perhaps leading to a situation that could be dangerous for a child. Some models are prototypes, others are used to illustrate misuse. Some of our commentary is on the lighter side and may give the wrong message to parents when reproduced in part.
We may give permission to use photos or larger portions of our text, depending on how and where it is being used. When we do, we ask for a reference back to CarseatBlog.com, including a link. To contact us, please use the contact form or email: webmaster “at” carseatblog “dot” com.
We also ask that advocates include a link and reference if you make ”fair use” of small sections of our content in comments or posts on third party blogs, forums and other websites. Please be very sure that your use does not give an unsafe message to parents and caregivers!
Also, if you have a blog about carseats, child safety, baby gear or parenting, please contact us to set up a link exchange! This helps both websites with popularity!
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
Heather, Kecia and Darren
