Stroller Update from the ABC Show 2012

I missed being a stroller gearhead when my kiddos were young enough to use one; guess I could use a stroller for my dog, but, uh, she’s a dog and I won’t embarrass her by doing that. So as we were at the various booths checking out carseats, I asked about strollers if they were there and I also hit some stroller booths on my half-day “off” when we didn’t have appointments. Hopefully you’ll find some new fashions to tide you over!

 

Baby Jogger

All strollers but the POD accept the car seat adaptor, which is designed to fit Chicco, Cybex, Evenflo, Graco, Maxi-Cosi, and Peg Perego infant seats. I was told that the Shadow Black color is being phased out.

Britax

I don’t think there’s anything new coming from Britax. Britax has bought BOB strollers, but that’s so last Spring. All I have is pictures for Britax, sorry! But I know you like pics, so yay, right?!

    

 

Mamas & Papas

Mamas & Papas is a stroller (and more!) company from Great Britain and it has your traditional black fashions for its pushchairs (sorry!), but it by far has the most colorful offerings if you like that kind of thing. If you want to be seen pushing your child, get a Mamas & Papas stroller!

Mylo
Has adapters for Graco and Cybex infant seats.
Colors: lime jelly, black jack, purple, red

Urbo
Has adapters for Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Peg Perego, and Graco infant seats.
Chrome frame colors: black, lime jelly, purple, turquoise, red, sandcastle

Sola
The inside of the canopy of the Sola is patterned, depending on which color you choose. Has adapters for Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Peg Perego, and Graco infant seats.

Tour
The single version of the Tour has an available adapter strap for an infant seat.
Colors: black, stone, purple

Cruise
There’s an available adapter strap for an infant seat.
Color: black

M&P also have a new cold weather cover accessory that keeps the wind and chill out. It looks to be very warm and folds over onto itself using magnets to close.

  

 

Quinny

Quinny has 4 funky, ultra-modern strollers on the market. I’m not sure that the Yezz will take an infant seat, but the others accept the Maxi-Cosi Mico and Prezi and have an adapter bar for the onBoard series, Graco SnugRide 22/32/35, Chicco, Combi, Peg Perego, and Britax Chaperone infant seats.
